Batch Production of Specialised Lightened Flywheels and Turned components
Replacing the flywheel with a modified lightened flywheel will lighten the crank assembly. This has the effect of reducing the inertia of the heavier flywheel, allowing the engine to revolve easier soaking up less of the produced power. However this loss of inertia also makes the engine easier to stall at low revs.
Here at Amac Engineering can produce the lightened flywheels to your requirements. However we deal mainly with batch orders, as one offs are more costly to the customer.
We also can produce turned components to individual requirements, as below. Again we mainly deal with batch orders.
